NIFD Global’s Design Carnival showcases creativity and innovation of fashion and interior design students, serving as a gateway to Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI. Over five days, students from NIFD Global centres nationwide present their designs to a panel of judges from industry, competing for a spot at Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI. Winners of the fashion design segment get the chance to showcase their collections at ‘The Runway’ show, while interior design winners design sets for designer shows at Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI, highlighting their talent. This bi-annual event underscores NIFD Global’s dedication to nurturing creativity and empowering the next generation of designers, re-affirming its commitment to providing a platform for emerging talents.
